Create your Compton College success story! Students of all ages can earn a degree or associate’s certificate, transfer to a four-year college, or train for a job. Learn a new trade, change careers and acquire or improve your skills to join the job market thanks to a training course that only takes 18 months. Compton College offers training and certificate programs in 17 different career fields.

We care about our students and provide financial, academic and technical support to those who need it, such as financial aid, tutoring, book vouchers, free laptops and Wi-Fi hotspot loans. -Fi, free/reduced food resources and referrals for those experiencing housing insecurity. . Compton College is a great choice because it’s closer to home and costs significantly less – tuition is a fraction of that of our four-year counterparts.

Local 2023 high school graduates attend almost for free!

High school graduates from the Compton, Lynwood, and Paramount Unified School Districts who attend Compton College full-time (12 units) immediately after graduation are eligible to receive tuition for two years under from Compton College’s Oliver W. Conner Promise program. Additionally, students receive up to $400 per year for textbooks, course materials, and supplies, plus a free tablet/laptop if students are enrolled full-time in the third semester census. Students benefit from savings of $3,680 over two years!

How to Apply to Compton College

Compton College’s 2023 summer sessions begin June 20 and July 3, 2023; the fall 2023 semester begins on August 20, 2023.

New students can apply for admission by completing the Compton College online application in a few simple steps. Students can go through the registration steps from the comfort of their own home or visit the on-campus admissions office for in-person assistance.
