CSIR UGC NET June 2022 Applications start at csirnet.nta.nic.in, exam from January 29

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2022 registration process for the June session of December 3. The registration process will continue until January 2 until 11:50 p.m. on the official csirnet website. nta.nic.in. The deadline to pay the exam fee is January 3.

The exam for the June session of UGC NET 2022 will take place on January 29, February 5 and 6. The exam will take place in two shifts – the first shift will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the second from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. . The exam will be conducted in Computer Test Mode (CBT) in a Multiple Choice Question Format (MCQ).

“Applicants can apply online only at https://csirnet.nta.nic.in during the period specified above. Before applying for the joint CSIR-UGC NET exam June-2021, applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria mentioned in the newsletter. Exam fees must also be paid online through a payment gateway using debit / credit cards, online banking, UPI or Paytm, ”the official notice reads.

Those who have achieved at least 55% of grades in their Masters or equivalent from a recognized university in any subject are eligible to apply for the June UGC NET 2022 cycle.

UGC NET 2022 CSIR Exam: Exam Template

The UGC NET will take place for a total of five exams, including Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The exam will be conducted in two languages: Hindi and English.

Meanwhile, the UGC NET for June and December 2020 will end today, December 5th. The exam began on November 20 for which approximately 12.67 lakh candidates had registered. Due to Covid-19, exams for both sessions have been postponed and are being held together. The review for Bhubaneshwar, Gunupur, Cuttack, Berhampur (Ganjam) Puri and Vishakhapatnam has however been postponed due to threats from Cyclone Jawad.
