Oppo invites testers for ColorOS 13 public beta; Closing of applications on August 4: all the details

ColorOS 13 public beta has been released by Oppo for three smartphone models in select markets. The new ColorOS model will be based on Android 13. Owners of Oppo Discover X5, Discover X5 Pro and Discover N can register as beta testers from today until August 4. The application will be reviewed within 5 working days. Consumer beta testers will get the ColorOS 13 beta as an OTA update that will be rolled out by Oppo in batches after the evaluation process is complete.

Oppo invites users to the ColorOS 13 public beta model based primarily on Android 13. The smartphone model in Chinese announced that Oppo Discover X5 customers in the United Arab Emirates and France (unlocked modes) and Oppo Discover X5 Professional customers in Indonesia , Thailand and Vietnam, Malaysia, France (unlocked modes) and Australia (unlocked modes) can now start being testers for the first beta version of ColorOS 13. The company will also invite owners of these two smartphones in China.

Oppo Discover N users in China could start using the upcoming ColorOS 13 public beta, the company has announced. Eligible users can start using now, and applications will end on August 4. Oppo will evaluate apps and select beta testers within 5 business days. The first public beta of ColorOS 13 will be rolled out via an OTA update. Oppo will currently only register 1,000 users. Additional beta testers may be included for future variations.

Oppo Discover X5, Discover X5 Professional and Discover N customers in the areas mentioned above can apply to be beta testers for the ColorOS 13 public beta by visiting * Settings > About machine adopted by tapping the top of the web page and then tapping the topmost appropriate icon. Go to Trial Variations, fill in the required information, then tap Apply Now. Customers should then go to Replace above machine > Get now.

The Chinese company has also highlighted a number of points identified with the public beta of ColorOS 13. Based on Oppo, the app icons show malfunctions in certain eventualities, notifications do not clear from the bar notification, near subject communication (NFC) malfunctions under certain conditions, computerized screen brightness adjustment should not be tricky, and no immediate sound when purposes are authorized by duty supervisor.
