Salem Collector invites applications under UYEGP
Collector S. Karmegam has invited applications under the Job Creation Program for Unemployed Youth (UYEGP).
In a statement, Mr. Karmegam said that to encourage unemployed youths to set up new businesses, the state government is implementing the UYEGP through the District Industries Center. The eligible project cost for the business category was ₹5 lakh. Eligibility criteria of annual family income limit was ₹5 lakh.
To obtain a loan under the program, the applicant must be 8th and be within the age limit of 18 to 35 years. For Special Category applicants, the maximum eligible age limit is 45 years. Eligible applicants can apply for the relevant grant loan through the online portal www.msmeonline.tn.gov.in/uyegp.
The state government had issued a GO on August 18, granting relaxations to the upper age limit of 45 to 55, and educational qualification was not required for people with disabilities and parents of children. children with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
