SBA low-interest loans available for those affected by August 5 heavy rains and flash flooding | Local News

Local businesses and residents affected by heavy rains and flash flooding on August 5 can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the US Small Business Administration.

The loans cover those affected in Fayette, Washington, Westmoreland, Allegheny, Somerset, Armstrong, Cambria and Indiana counties. Governor Tom Wolf requested a disaster declaration by the SBA earlier this month, which led to the availability of low-interest loans.
