Western Railway began the application process for apprenticeship vacancies today, May 28. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the positions can register online at the official website of RRC WR which is rrc-wr.com. The deadline for the registration process is June 27.
Western Railway is organizing this recruitment campaign to fill a total of 3,612 vacancies in several positions such as fitter, welder, carpenter, painter, diesel mechanic, electrician, electro-mechanic, car mechanic, cableman, THAT mechanic, pipefitter, plumber, draughtsman, PASSA, stenographer, machinist and tuner.

It should also be noted that engineering graduates and degree holders are not allowed to apply for apprenticeships as they are governed by a separate apprenticeship scheme.

Candidates who have passed Class 10 in the 10+2 system with minimum marks of 50% and who also have an ITI certificate in the required trades can apply for the recruitment process. The age limit for applicants is 15 to 24 years old.
Aspirants have to pay Rs 100 as application fee to register online. Applicants in reserved categories such as SC/ST/PWD are not required to pay an application fee. Payment can be made by credit card, debit card and internet banking.
The information provided by candidates when filling in the application forms will be checked in the Divisions & Workshops concerned. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the average percentage of marks obtained by candidates in both the 10th class and the ITI exam.

- Fill the form with personal details like Aadhaar number, grades, ACMG, preference for divisions and workshops etc.
- Pay the required application fee, if applicable
- Submit the application and get out a hard copy
